Ocean Adventure Ride

9 of us did a pretty cool ride on Oct. 11 !!
I have a place on the Hood Canal in Jorstad Creek Resort - our staging area.
We mounted up and left at 9:00 sharp - destination goal was the ocean (Pacific Beach)
Our trip was a mix of 2 lane Highway and forest service roads - had all kinds of weather.
Roosting on the beach was surely the highlight of the trip!!!
One wrong turn earlier in the day down a dead-end logging rode forced our return trip to
mostly highway due to time. Ended up back at my resort at 6:45 with a total of 247 miles
under our belts!!! Good times had by all - plans for next year already in the works!!!
We even got to do a little crabbing on Friday in my boat - only caught 2 but enough for
a taste of fresh crab!!!!
