Hey Tom!

I am planning on coming down for Rat Dog, but was wondering how the fire danger level may affect the use of trails. Do you have any update on how that is playing out?

Thanks!
Garrett

How about the inundation of Tillamook by the eclipse watcher invasion? Are we going to run into millions of welding goggled zombies staring into the heavens? Will all the beer be gone from empty grocery shelves? All the 92 clear gas gone? Will there be any room at the fairgrounds? Hey Mr Cobb, [-X I thought that "I know that but somebody has to give you a hard time............... ":D was MY job...But you can have it if you want it =D>

The Pre-Ride Poopsheet is now posted (see below), and the trails are open! Boy, have we got some cool routes planned for y'all! Leaving at O-dark thirty Monday morning to Tillamook to confirm all the routes. Good times!

Thanks again Tom for another great event! I had a great time (As always!). Saturdays A course was AWESOME! I am sorry to hear this may be the last Rat Dog. I was looking forward to coming back. I hope the eclipse weekend didn't ruin things for the future. I am sure a lot of people avoided Oregon.

Just my .02 here, I think having an 'A' course set up for both days would bring more people to the event. Even if its the same 'A' course both days (or switch directions) would have been sweet. I think a lot of the more off road trail guys would like that. A huge bonus would be a short 'A' night ride like we had at Black Dog a couple years ago. That was SO much fun! (forget the complainers! there was as easier option for them! :D ) Made for some good stories too!

Logistically, I am sure it is a lot of work to set up 3 different routes to try and please everyone. I have to say I really appreciate all the work that you and the others put into these events and I hope they can continue. One of these times I would like to come down early and help you all out with the courses and get some more play time in.

See you next time!

Cool video! We ended up driving about 20 miles south to get the full eclipse. Definitely worth it!
