The fire level in the Tillamook Forest is at level 3, which means we are relegated to roads only and no trails for the Rat Dog Ride - a bummer, but there is still so much to see, even without trails, so prepare for another enjoyable ride!!

Wait, the trails are open again!
Hi Everyone,
Effective Tuesday, 08.04.2015, the OHV Trails in the Tillamook State Forest and BLM Upper Nestucca Riding Area will re-open as the IFPL will drop back down to a Level 2. It looks like the trails will remain open at least through the weekend.
Thanks to everyone for your help in keeping the Tillamook State Forest safe from wildfires!

The NOAA Weather Service forecasts the following - should be awesome!
Friday Night A 40 percent chance of showers before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Sunny, with a high near 83.

Today is misting and will make things perfect for tomorrow - no dust! Due to concerns of the landowners pulling our 'trail' card, we will have A, B & C courses on Saturday, but only a leisurely, fun C course for Sunday. For the night ride, we will only have a C course option too (no A). Didn't want to put in too many resources in case something got yanked. The routes will REALLY be fun, as we incorporated plenty of variety, scenery and class-specific challenges!
