Scaredy Cat Road Ride?

Postby Danno » Tue Mar 08, 2005 8:00 pm

:D I had someone ask if this ride was just a street ride. From the looks of the "Cat" page, one might think it was. We just haven't any pictures of kitties on dirt bikes, yet 8) So keep your eyes peeled for good "Dirt Cat" pics and send them in :P
The person that asked about the ride, said he didn't want to wear out his good knobs on the pavement. I will probably use this ride to wear off the rest of my Black Dog knob and suggest others to not worry about needing much of a tire for this ride. In fact, street tires will be OK if you don't want to go too fast on the gravel sections. We had a rider at the Rat Dog on a old "70's" era, 2-stoke, twin, road bike. Nick Juenemann's old Suzuki did pretty good, considering the weather conditions, on that ride. Any bike, that won't get hurt with a little gravel blasting will be fine for the "Kitty" ride and there may be extra points for uniqueness. :) Danno

You don't stop riding because you grow old, you grow old because you stop riding.
