3/12/20 Riding Northern California

[Tawmass]

Rod and I took off from a chilly, 31 degrees in Shady Cove. Wow, was it cold! We headed onto Interstate 5 and decided to pull over at Ashland to warm up my paws before the big trip to Callihans at the top of the mountain. Just as we pulled over, low and behold, there was Tiny and Willy doing the same thing. Perfect timing!


At Callihans was DaveR, TinyK, WillyM, JohnC, RodN and I. Callihans had plenty of hot coffee that we all soaked up. The glasses of ice water didn't get much use on the table. We took off from there and I realized later that I left my credit card with the waitress - oof.

Along the way we saw many things, like a bonafide public telephone, clear skies and snow!

All in all it was 275 miles and a stellar day to be out!
